Ranchi, September 19: Due to many reasons, the primitive tribes in the state have a challenge to save their existence. Now the state government has taken initiative in this direction. The Department of Art, Culture, Sports (Jharkhand Government) has taken a step forward for this. She will take help from firms, production houses, filmmakers in this work. For this, proposals have been sought by issuing tender (EoI). The Directorate of Culture has asked experienced firms, filmmakers to come forward for this work. The website http://www.jharkhandculture.com has been asked to download the documents for the proposal and get the necessary information. The deadline for this has been fixed by 12 October.

Crisis in front of Sabar and other tribes
Significantly, in Jharkhand (based on the 2011 census), the population of a particular tribe is two lakh 92 thousand. In this, the population of a tribe like Sabar is only 3 percent. There is a challenge in front of Sabar in the state, Asur, Birhor, Birjia, Mal Paharia, Sauria Paharia, Korwa Sabar, Hill Khadia and Parhiya who come under the category of primitive tribes are also under threat. Their numbers are getting limited due to illiteracy, malnutrition and other reasons. In such a situation, the Directorate of Culture is hoping to start an effective initiative through a documentary on them.
