‘Mahi introduced Modi sir in Motera’
In the midst of this election frenzy, a video has been posted by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), in which Ravindra Jadeja, referring to the first meeting between him and PM Modi, is telling interesting things about the Prime Minister. In the video, Jadeja is saying that ‘it was a matter of year 2010, we had a match against South Africa in Motera. At that time the captain of the team was Mahi Bhai i.e. Mahendra Singh Dhoni. PM Modi was also present there to watch that match.
‘Brother, this is our boy.. take care’
Captain Dhoni introduced me to him for the first time, when he was the CM of Gujarat. As soon as he saw me, he told Dhoni that ‘Brother, this is your boy, take care of it’. He said this in a very light mood.
Jadeja said that ‘it feels very good when a big person praises you with such affinity. I also liked it very much.
‘Sir gave us 20-25 minutes time’
Extending his point, Jadeja said that ‘after this I met him in Delhi in the year 2019, when I and my wife Rivaba went to meet him, sir gave us 20-25 minutes time, we were very happy even then. It was felt.
‘What else good should be done in Gujarat? ,
He asked my wife, ‘What work are you doing? What other good things should be done in Gujarat? How else should development take place there? It is a big thing that the PM of the country is asking you directly that how to develop Gujarat? Asking for your opinion is a special thing in itself.
‘Some people may not like it but…’
He said that PM Modi had said that ‘some changes are happening right now, I am trying to do something good in the interest of the country, some people may not like it, but after some time they will understand that whatever Changes have happened, it is for their good because sometimes change is necessary.
‘You are a Gujarati, Modi sir is a Gujarati’
Jadeja, the popular all-rounder of Team India, furthered his point and said that ‘When we go outside India to play cricket, many people come to the stadium to watch cricket, many of them are Gujaratis, when they meet us. So they say that you are Gujarati, Modi sir is Gujarati, we are proud of him. We are with them. It’s great to hear all this. Wherever you go in the world and whenever the topic of Gujarat comes up, Sir Narendra Modi’s name comes first, it is a great pleasure to hear this.
‘He calls people by their names’
Jadeja said that ‘Narendra Modi is on such a big position today, but even today if he goes to any small village, he calls people by his name. He is so busy but he does not forget people’s names.
‘The country will benefit in the coming 10-15 years’
The development he has done in Gujarat is exemplary. Water, electricity, roads are all very good here. I feel very proud that I am a Gujarati and only a Gujarati holds the highest position in the country. His vision is very clear. They know that if I invest anywhere here today, then in the coming 10-15 years the country will benefit and the country will progress.
