Chandigarh. The problem is increasing due to the ongoing strike of Arhtiyas in Haryana. The government has now started showing strictness regarding this. The government has prepared its plan for the purchase of crops. Work has started on Plan B to continue the procurement of Kharif crops to be held in the mandis from October 1. Chief Minister Manohar Lal has issued instructions to the officers to complete the preparations for the purchase.
He has directed the officers of the Agriculture Department to rectify the errors in the verification of the data of e-Girdawari within 2 days by matching it with the data of Agriculture Department, HARSAC. Also, in the next 3 days, this data should be corrected and entered on the portal. Haryana Government has prepared Plan B to deal with the strike of Mandi Arhtiyas. Under this plan, the government will complete the procurement through its agencies. CM Manohar Lal has instructed the officers to prepare a list of agencies related to procurement. Along with this, it has also been instructed that there should be no financial crisis situation during the purchase, so preparations should be made in advance.
During the procurement, officers of marketing board, agriculture and related departments will be posted at the help desks in the mandis. The grievances of farmers will also be redressed at the help desk. Haryana CM Manohar Lal has given 3 days to the farmers. Meri Fasal – Mera Byora portal has been opened for 3 days. Now the left out farmers will be able to register themselves till September 24.
