Hisar, 7 June. After the opposition constantly accusing the government in the registry case, now investigation has been started in all the districts. A day before in Hisar, a committee was formed for this. From Tuesday, the SDM-led committee will examine the registries in this matter. Along with this, the sale deed has been included in this without taking all the registries. These registries are from the year 2010 to 2017. Earlier, the registries from the year 2017 to 2021 were scrutinized. In which most of the officers came out clean. The opposition is raising questions on this. At the same time, it is being said from the government that the registry scam has not happened in the state.

Under Section 7A of the Urban Areas Act 1975, it is mandatory to obtain NOC from the District Town & Country Planning Department for sale or lease of less than two kanals of land in the notified area. But it has been seen that in many cases, the people doing the registry do not take this NOC. Earlier the land limit for NOC was 20 kanals, but later the government reduced it to less than 2 kanals. Due to which new methods were devised by the colonizers and illegal colonies are being developed. The special thing is that Tehsil offices also register without NOC. Due to which illegal colonies are developing in large numbers all over the state.

When the investigation of registries started sometime back in Hisar from year 2017 to 2021, cases of six tehsildars and naib tehsildars came to light. In which clarification was taken by giving notice to the same officer. Even after this no action was seen. At the same time, the names of the registry clerks and computer operators were sent to the headquarters by the Tehsil administration. But here too there was no big change. However, the process of transfer was definitely seen. Soon after this, notices were to be served to Kanungo and Patwaris too, but peace remained in this matter as well.
