On this initiative of the Haryana government, GST expert Amit Goyal said that the government is preparing to make changes in Module One and Two of the tax. If this happens then petrol and diesel can be cheaper in the state. Presently these petrochemicals are out of the purview of GST. More than 40% tax is charged on these, but if there is a change in the module of tax, then only 28 percent will be taxed on them.

The Deputy CM said that with the cooperation of every individual, India will lead in the system of ‘One Tax-One Nation’. He said that in the coming years, many new taxpayers will join India and the tax paying capacity of the people will also increase. Apart from this, he said that Haryana is transitioning from Module-I to Module-II in the tax system.

Dushyant Chautala said that Haryana is transitioning from Module-I to Module-II in the tax system, while this change is not easy, but Haryana took the lead in implementing the VAT tax system in the year 2003. We are ahead and today our tax is 26 thousand rupees per person.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that in collaboration with the British High Commission, officials from the United Kingdom are training more than 200 of our officers on the tax system. He said that we are learning in the tax system. If we can learn to do well then we should learn and gain experience.
