The Registrar General of India will conduct on-site inspection of death-birth data by sending it to the field. For this, the duty of social welfare officers of all the districts will be imposed by the Haryana government. Also, only after the confirmation of the numberdar, tehsildar or other competent officer of the concerned village, the department will start the process of stopping the pension.

Earlier, the Social Welfare Department, Registrar General of India used to stop pension on the basis of death and birth data. Which made a big mistake this time. The department stopped the pension by showing the dead people as dead and stopped the pension of their widow women by showing the dead as alive. After the protests in the entire state, now the department is going to change its functioning. The flaws in the system are being rectified by holding marathon meetings daily.

Confirming this, a high official of the Social Welfare Department said that before stopping the pension in future, the data of the living and the dead will be thoroughly checked. Not only this, he also informed the beneficiaries by sending a message on mobile that their pension is being withheld due to this reason, if they have any objection then they can raise objection with the concerned District Social Welfare Officer.

According to departmental officials, due to the dispute between the living and the dead in Haryana, the pension of about 1800 elderly people has been stopped. This pension has been stopped on the basis of data from the Registrar General of India, death and birth. So many people are shown dead in this record. A total of 28 lakh people are being given pension by the Social Welfare Department in Haryana. These include 17 lakh old age pensioners.
