Chandigarh. Panchayat elections in Haryana have been postponed since 2021. After a long demand, now the preparations for Panchayat elections are going to start in Haryana soon. It is expected that it will be done by the end of the year. At the same time, the Haryana government is preparing to announce the panchayat elections around October 10. For this, BJP has called an important meeting on 30 September. It will include CM Manohar Lal and state president OP Dhankhar.

For the elections, BJP Haryana has constituted 9 member committees. Education Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar has been made the chairman of the committee. The committee will brainstorm on the preparations to be made for the elections. Along with this, the responsibility of the district wise officers will be fixed. As per the instructions of the State Election Commission, the polling party will consist of 4 officers, including a Presiding Officer and 3 Polling Officers, so that the elections can be conducted peacefully. For this, the duty of the concerned officers will be imposed, who will have to get the voting done impartially.

Necessary arrangements are being made for videography at the most sensitive polling stations during Panchayat elections. Sensitive and vulnerable polling stations are identified and arrangements are being made for their security so that incidents of violence, loot and booth capturing etc. do not take place at polling stations.
