Haryana: Timings of state schools including Gurugram, Faridabad changed

School Education Department of Haryana has changed the timings of the schools. Due to winter, the school timings have been changed from December 1. There has been a change in the timetable of both single shift and double shift.

The timing of single shift schools will be from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. In double shift, classes will be held for the first shift from 7.55 am to 12.30 pm, while the second shift will run from 12.40 pm to 5.15 pm.

238 Pimshree schools will open in Haryana, each block will get two
238 PMShri Schools (Prime Minister’s Schools for Rising India) will be opened in all education blocks of Haryana. Will be upgraded. With the help of the Central Government, it has been decided to open two such schools in each block. An amount of up to one crore rupees will be spent on the renovation of each school by the Haryana government. The Union Cabinet had approved the ‘PMshree School’ scheme.

PMshree schools will provide guidance and leadership to other schools around them. The PMShri project will be implemented for a period of five years from 2022-23 to 2026 at a cost of Rs 27 thousand 360 crore. The central government has a plan to upgrade 14 thousand 500 schools across the country under the PMShri scheme. PM Modi had announced this on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.

Haryana Education Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar discussed the entire plan to open or upgrade Pimshree schools in a meeting of education department officials in Chandigarh. The Education Minister said that our government will provide excellent teachers in these schools. High level examples of good education, cultural and physical activities will be seen in such schools.
