Washington, June 22 :
The US says that it attaches importance to bilateral relations with India. The White House further said in its release that, when it comes to the Indo-Pacific region, India’s partnership with the US is strategically very important. Washington values its bilateral relations with New Delhi. However, referring to Russia, the US said that every country will have to take its own decision regarding Moscow. Let us tell you that a few days ago, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had alleged that America is increasing our problems by supporting Pakistan. Only a few days after this, America has said positively on the bilateral relations between India and America.

John Kirby, coordinator of the White House Security Council for Strategic Communications, told reporters, “We will let Indian leaders talk about their economic policies.” He said, ‘All I can tell you is that we value this bilateral relationship with India and we want – obviously, every country has to make its own decisions. The countries have imposed severe sanctions on Russia for launching a “special military operation” in neighboring Ukraine.

Kirby underlined that the Indo-Pacific is a very important strategic partner. And there are many ways in which this partnership represents itself both in defense and security, economically as well.

Let us tell you that since the war in Ukraine, America and many European countries have imposed many economic sanctions on Russia. For this reason, Russia has offered a huge discount in oil. India is benefiting the most from this. Russia wants India to buy oil from them, it wants to become India’s second largest oil supplier. According to media reports, Russia has also overtaken Saudi Arabia in the oil trade. According to the information, Indian refiners bought about 25 million barrels of Russian oil in May, which is 16 percent more than oil imports.

On the other hand, many western countries are talking about India not doing oil trade with Russia for India to buy oil from Russia.

Let us inform that so far India has not said anything against Moscow regarding the Russian attack in Ukraine. However, India talks of moving forward through diplomacy and dialogue for an immediate solution to the Ukraine crisis. India is the third largest oil importing country in the world. Oil consumption here is higher than in other countries. India has been importing large quantities of crude oil from Russia. For this reason, he wants to resolve the pressure of other countries through diplomatic means. India says that it imports a small amount of oil from Europe and its consumption is high. For this reason, to meet the consumption of oil, he imports oil from Russia.

Let us inform that earlier, on getting support from America to Pakistan, External Affairs Minister Dr. Jaishankar expressed displeasure. He said that America is increasing our problems by supporting Pakistan. Jaishankar’s remarks came in the wake of Pakistan-based terrorists instigating and providing arms to extremists in Jammu and Kashmir and disturbing peace in the Valley.

Know what is the matter
The US has repeatedly talked about stressing zero-tolerance towards terrorism, but it also talks about taking forward relations with Pakistan. In such a situation, America has been creating problems for India from time to time. If America supports Pakistan even more, then India will oppose it in any case.

America had called Pakistan its ally
US State Department spokesman Ned Price on Thursday called Pakistan an ally of America. He said that Pakistan is a partner of ours, and we will look for ways to advance that partnership in a way that is in our best interest.

Jaishankar spoke on Indo-Pak relationship
Speaking on India’s relations with Pakistan, Jaishankar claimed that some people on both sides of the border have worked hard to smooth the relations between the two countries. Everyone wants the relations between the two countries to improve. The External Affairs Minister said that from the very beginning of his tenure, the Prime Minister made every effort to extend the hand of friendship with Pakistan, but what was the result?
