Ranchi. There is good news for the advocates of Jharkhand. Hemant Soren of the state has given many consents for the welfare of the advocates. Advocates from all over the state participated in the Chief Minister’s Advocate Dialogue program organized at the residence of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. During this, Hemant Soren talked about giving advocates from pension to insurance of Rs 5 lakh.
For the first time at the Chief Minister’s residence, a Chief Minister held a program of dialogue with the advocates of the state. Advocates from all over the state participated in this dialogue programme. The advocates kept their many demands before the Chief Minister. This included the issue of pension to insurance and court fees. Chief Minister Hemant Soren has given his consent on many demands of the advocates. According to the Advocate General of the state, Rajeev Ranjan, the government has announced to give pension to the advocates at par with the Trustee Committee.
This decision is historic for the advocates, while the government has agreed to give 5 lakhs road accident insurance for the advocates i.e. death benefit of 5 lakhs for the death of advocates in a road accident. Apart from this, talks have been held with Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Advocates Protection Act like other states, construction of model bar building complexes in every district, government help for the education of advocates’ children.
