Hyderabad, Nov 8: Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Monday met a delegation from Lockheed Martin and discussed the possibility of setting up a plant in Hyderabad. KTR discussed the progress of ongoing projects and discussed the possibility of building the C-130J empennage and the F16 wing. in city. He further urged the representatives of Lockheed Martin to cooperate with the proposed Aerospace University in Telangana. He also highlighted the potential for startup engagement through corporate innovation programs at T-Hub and other institutions.
KTR took to Twitter to share the news of the meeting, saying, “Minister @KTRTRS met with a senior team from @lockheedmartin led by Mr Ron McLean, VP & GM, Air Mobility & Maritime Mission at Pragati Bhavan today Discussed the progress of ongoing projects in Hyderabad and its expansion plans including the C-130J empennage and the F16 wing.
