A case of blackbuck hunting has come to the fore from Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. The matter is serious because in the complaint made to the top police officers, allegations have been directly leveled against a police station in-charge. Not only this, it has been said in the complaint that after killing a blackbuck, a feast was held in the vacant building of the old police station. The matter is somewhat old, when the Forest Department team went to the spot and investigated, then after washing the spot with water, the matter of destruction of evidence came to the fore. However, in this matter the Forest Department has not done any writing on the papers. Here the complainant is also roaming around with the complaint of being threatened by the police.

Khurai-Bina Maqsood Ali, station in-charge posted in Khimlasa of the area, has been accused of hunting blackbuck and feasting in the old police station building near the police station. Complaints have been made in the matter from the SDOP level to the DGP of the state. This complaint was made by Lakhan Rajput, a resident of Patharia Jagan in the area. The matter is being told about the night of 17 November last month. The Forest Department is accepting such complaints and inspecting and investigating by the team in the old police station premises late night on 17th November. No action was taken in writing, but according to the forest officials, when the team conducted the investigation in the old police station, they accepted that the entire building was washed with water on the spot.

Giving information to the media, SDO of North Forest Division Hemant Yadav said that the forest department had received information that Khimlasa police station in-charge Maqsood Ali was reported to be hunting and feasting on blackbuck chinkara.
After which instructions were given to Jaruakheda ranger Chandrabhushan Thakur to look into the matter. A team of the department was sent to investigate on the spot in the night itself. Although the forest department team had gone to the spot after getting the information, but nothing was found at that place.
