New Delhi, 1 June. The BSP, which is supporting the Congress by rebelling against the party in Rajasthan, has demanded to stop all its 6 MLAs from voting for the Rajya Sabha elections. Party’s state president Bhagwan Singh Baba has written a letter to Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra and Assembly Speaker CP Joshi in this regard.

In the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections, 6 candidates had won on Bahujan Samaj Party ticket. But due to organizational weakness and many other internal matters, all the 6 BSP MLAs are revolting in their own party. Now on the instructions of BSP supremo, Rajasthan BSP state president has written a letter to Governor Kalraj Mishra and Assembly Speaker CP Joshi. In which it has been demanded that all the 6 MLAs of Rajasthan who won on BSP ticket and joined the Congress should be barred from voting in the Rajya Sabha elections.
In a letter to the Governor and the Speaker of the Assembly, it has been said on behalf of the BSP that in the Rajasthan Assembly elections 2018, 6 candidates had won on BSP ticket. After becoming MLA, all of them unconstitutionally merged BSP with SP. On behalf of the BSP, all the 6 MLAs have been accused of violating the anti-defection law. On behalf of the BSP, it was said that due to the BSP’s merger with the Congress without the permission of the party high command, the case is going on against these MLAs under the anti-defection law. Decision on this is going to come soon. It has been demanded in the letter that all the 6 MLAs who won the elections on BSP ticket in Rajasthan should be stopped from voting in the Rajya Sabha elections.
