TDP supremo and Andhra Pradesh veteran leader N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said the Union Budget 2023-24 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament has enough scope to achieve the goal of inclusive growth. He said that it is a great thing that the Indian economy which was at 10th position in 2014 has now reached the fifth position in the world.

It is indeed commendable that the development plans and welfare programs have been designed for the next 25 years, with 2047 as the development target, said Chandrababu Naidu. I hope that India will stand at the top of development with Vision-2047. I express confidence that the macro-level programs and their micro-level implementation will surely enable India to achieve the set goals.’

TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu welcomed the allocation of Rs 20 lakh crore for farm loans and Rs 79,000 crore for housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, besides Rs 6,000 crore for aquaculture. He said that integration of technology in agriculture would definitely help in achieving higher yield.

In a release issued on Wednesday, the TDP chief lauded the move to allocate Rs 2 lakh crore for MSMEs, especially by reducing the interest rate. Also, he said that the investment of Rs 75,000 crore on 100 infrastructure projects in the transport sector would yield better results, while the budgetary allocation of Rs 2.40 lakh crore would enable Indian Railways to move ahead faster.
