The next tour of the Indian cricket team present in New Zealand is to Bangladesh, for which the senior selection committee announced the team on Wednesday. In this team, 26-year-old fast bowler Kuldeep Sen has replaced Yash Dayal and all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed has been included in place of Ravindra Jadeja. Dayal has some back issues while Ravindra Jadeja is yet to recover from his knee injury.

India will play three ODIs in Dhaka from December 4 followed by two Tests from December 14. Jadeja is expected to miss the Test matches as well. Regular captain Rohit Sharma, vice-captain KL Rahul and Virat Kohli return to the team, having been rested for the tour of New Zealand.

Sanju Samson has not been given a place in this team as well and Suryakumar Yadav’s name is also missing for which fans have raised questions on social media. Even the fans are furious even when Shubman Gill’s name is not there. A fan is so disappointed with Rishabh Pant being replaced by Samson again and again that he writes-

‘Rishabh Pant is very talented player, he was tried at number 4, played at number 5, played at number 6, 7, tried to get the opening done, so I request BCCI not to drop Pant from the team, but to keep him as a bowler. Try me too, because only jewelers can test a diamond.
