Amaravati, September 12: Industries Minister Gudivada Amarnath has said that Telugu Desam Party President N. Chandrababu Naidu did little precious work for Amaravati, although he wanted it as the new capital of Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to media persons here on Friday, he alleged that Chandrababu did injustice to Guntur and Vijayawada in the name of Amaravati, and asked, “Is there no place for the poor in Amaravati?” Alleging that the TDP president betrayed the state with vested interests and started agitation for only 29 villages, the minister said it was important to ensure equitable development of all areas. “Some people call it a padayatra. But it is an attack on Visakhapatnam and the people of North Andhra can never accept it.
