New Delhi, 19 June. Politics has heated up regarding the army recruitment scheme Agneepath. While former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi told the youth not to support it, on the other hand JDS leader and former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has made serious allegations against the Center. He has said that the Agneepath scheme could be part of the hidden agenda of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Amidst protests across the country regarding the Agneepath scheme, the central government has made it clear that now the army will be recruited only under the Agneepath scheme. It has been said from the Ministry of Defense that the question of taking back Agneepath does not arise. On the other hand, politics has also heated up regarding this recruitment scheme of the army. After former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, now former Karnataka CM and JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy has made serious allegations against the BJP-led central government regarding the new recruitment scheme of the army.
Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Sunday compared the ideology of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to that of Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Party in Germany. He questioned whether an attempt was being made to control the army to fulfill the agenda of the RSS on the lines of Hitler.
