Jabalpur News: Itching soaps have been supplied by railways to the railwaymen, expired 4 years ago

These days the employees of Jabalpur Railway Division of West Central Railway are troubled by itching while washing hands. This problem has come ever since soap bars were recently given to the on-duty staff to wash their hands. When I looked at the soap wrapper when it was itching, it turned out to be expired. The employees, who reached the top officials with their problems, told that the soaps being given to them had expired four years ago. Now there is a stir in the railway regarding this matter.

This is the soap of Nirma Company seen in the picture, whose expiry date of December 2018 is written on the wrapper of the soap. Despite this, these soap bars were distributed to the on duty employees working in the Railways to wash their hands. Initially, in haste, the employees did not see the expiry of these soaps. But started washing hands and one by one the itching in the hands of the employees increased, then the negligence was revealed. Hundreds of such employees working under Jabalpur Railway Division of West Central Railway Zone have become victims of this negligence. The aggrieved employees have now complained about the matter to the Railway Board officials.

It was told that the soaps given to the employees had expired in December 2018 i.e. four years back. Similar negligence has been done earlier also by the Stores Department of the Railways. Similar expired soap was supplied to the C&W department of Jabalpur. At that time also a complaint was made to the then DRM but no action was taken against the responsible officials of the store. The West Central Railway Employees Union has opened a front against the guilty officers due to the gross negligence that has come to the fore this time. Mandal President Romesh Mishra says that responsibility should be fixed in this matter, as well as action. If an attempt is made to save those who play with the health of the employees, a fierce movement will be launched.
