Abhishek Rai of Narsinghpur filed a petition
Refuge has been taken in MP High Court on behalf of Narsinghpur resident Abhishek Rai. In the petition filed on behalf of Abhishek, it was told that the police had registered two false criminal cases after exposing the fraud of two of his relatives and getting them to recover the illegal amount of the housing scheme. Of which he had no knowledge. What was the basis of registering the case, it was also not told at the time of arrest. Police also behaved inhumanely.

On June 21, the petitioner was called by the Police Station Kotwali assuring him to register an FIR in a pending complaint. As soon as the petitioner reached the police station, a complaint was filed in his case and an FIR was provided to him but soon after that at about 3.30 p.m. he was arrested in two other false offenses registered against him.
Complaint closed by confiscating mobile
Advocate Alok Vagrecha and advocate Vishal Baghel, representing the petitioner in the case, said that during this incident his mobile phone was seized by the Kotwali police. Then by calling the CM Helpline 181, another complaint made by the applicant was closed expressing consent and satisfaction with the redressal lodged by the police. After this, when the applicant was produced in the court, he got bail from there.

As soon as the bail was granted, the police, while returning the mobile to him, took the acknowledgment of receiving the mobile from him and the matter of returning the mobile was mentioned in the arrest form. When the petitioner saw his mobile, his entire data was deleted, including evidence of his pending cases, call recordings, videos. Abhishek Rai had to face many problems due to the deletion of mobile data.
Notice to SP Narsinghpur
The call statement of the petitioner revealed that at the time of his arrest, the CM helpline was switched off from his phone itself. After which the complaint of the entire incident was made from the Police Headquarters to the Ministry of Home Affairs, yet no action was taken against the police officers responsible. Due to which the petitioner took refuge in the High Court. While hearing the case, notice has been issued to the defendants by the bench of Justice Vivek Aggarwal of MP High Court. Along with this, the Superintendent of Police Narsinghpur has been asked to answer in the affidavit in the case of such serious allegations. The next hearing of the matter will be on December 16.
