JDU clarified its stand on Agneepath scheme, KC Tyagi said – Government should talk to the youth

New Delhi, June 19. Amidst the nationwide protests against the Agneepath scheme, the tone of BJP’s ally JDU seems to be slightly different. JDU has been vocal in registering its objections against the Centre’s plan. JDU leader and national spokesperson KC Tyagi has clarified the party’s stand on issues related to this scheme in a latest interview. First of all, KC Tyagi has made it clear that his party is not against this plan, but we want this plan to be reconsidered.

KC Tyagi has said that the government should immediately communicate with the protesting youth so that they can be explained everything about this scheme. He has said that JDU is not demanding to withdraw this scheme, but in view of the anger of the youth, we are demanding that the government should convene a meeting to review the scheme.
