Jharkhand News: Six railway over bridges approved for the state, 1080 crore project approved in three days

Ranchi. The central government has sanctioned six railway over bridges for the state. It will cost Rs 341.63 crore. The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has sent a notice of approval in this regard to the Road Construction Department. All railway over bridges will be built under the Setu Bandhan scheme. The ministry has said that the revised estimate of these schemes will not be approved. There will be no change in its administrative approval as well. For this, there will be an MoU between the Ministry of Railways and the State Government. The state government will be the main agency for its implementation.
Where will ROB be built, what will be the cost
ROB between Dalten-Rajhura in Daltonganj, total amount Rs 83.54 crore, central government will give Rs 78.72 crore.
– ROB between Gola and Charu Road in Ramgarh, total amount Rs 34.95 crore, center amount Rs 30.29 crore.
ROB in Santali village in Deoghar, total cost Rs 93.64 crore, center amount Rs 65.43 crore.
ROB on Jasidih and Baidyanath Dham section, total cost Rs 81.96 crore, center amount Rs 79.44 crore.
Jamtara-Karmatand-Laharjori ROB in Jamtara, total cost Rs 78.73 crore, center amount Rs 40.98 crore and Rs 51.46 crore and Rs 46.77 crore.
Due to better coordination between the Road Construction Department and the Central Government, the road projects of the state will gain momentum. In the last three days, road projects of the state worth Rs 1080 crore have been approved. This includes projects for construction of railway over bridge, four-lane bypass in Chaibasa, bypass in Jamtara, road from Rupnarayanpur to Pokharia in Dhanbad and road from Dharampur to Pakur in Pakur district.
Road Construction Department Secretary Sunil Kumar said that several road projects in the state have been approved in the last three days. This will help in further improving the road network in Jharkhand. All road projects will be completed within the time limit.
