Ranchi. Promising students, despite being toppers many times, are unable to dream of studying abroad. Sometimes financial constraints and sometimes other problems prevent them from going abroad. But now the students’ dream of going to UK and Ireland to do Master’s and M.Phil can come true. Because Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Scholarship has entered the third year.
Through this scholarship, children can go abroad and study master’s. According to the notification issued in the official website of the government, children can apply for the scholarship from March 17. The last date of application is 15 May. You have to apply online for this scholarship.
This scholarship in the name of Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda was started by Hemant Soren’s government in the year 2021. Through this scholarship, ST, SC, OBC and minority category students can pursue Master and MPhil in 31 different subjects in 110 universities in UK and Ireland.
Through this scholarship, in the first year, the government sent 6 students to Britain for studies at its own expense. The government has kept a budget of 16 crores annually for this scheme.
You can apply for the scholarship from March 17 to May 15. In the issued notification, it has been said that the students of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Minorities and Backward Classes of the state will apply for the scholarship.
Application will have to be made through the website www.mgos.jharkhand.gov.in. Also, for more information, students can visit the office of Tribal Welfare Commissioner, Kalyan Complex, Morabadi, Ranchi. To apply, Aadhaar card, permanent certificate, income certificate, caste certificate, documents related to educational qualification, bank account, passport size photo and mobile number have to be given.
Students can study in these subjects such as Anthropology, Sociology, Agriculture, Art and Culture, Development Studies, Economics Education, Climate Change, Forest Conservation and Ecology, Global Peace, International Relations, Political Science, Media and Communication, Public Administration, Public Health policy etc.
