J&K: Grenade attack by terrorists in Shopian, two migrant laborers injured

Terrorists attacked migrant laborers for the second consecutive day in Jammu and Kashmir. This is the second time within two days that terrorists attacked migrant laborers in Shopian late on Friday evening.
Militants hurled a grenade at Aglar Jainapora area of Shopian in South Kashmir, injuring 02 outside laborers with minor injuries. Kashmir Zone Police Police said that after the incident, a search operation is being conducted by cordoning off the area.
The attack on migrant laborers in Shopian comes a day after terrorists shot dead a laborer from Bihar and injured another from Punjab in Budgam’s Chadoora area. Dilkhush Kumar, a resident of Arnia in Bihar, and Rajan, a resident of Punjab, were shot dead by terrorists while they were working at a brick kiln in Magrepora village of Budgam’s Chadoora area. Both were taken to the hospital where Kumar succumbed to his injuries.

The attack on migrant laborers in Shopian comes a day after terrorists shot dead a laborer from Bihar and injured another from Punjab by terrorists in Chadoora area of Budgam. On Thursday, terrorists killed bank manager Vijay Kumar in Kulgam district. was shot and killed. This happened a few days after a school teacher named Rajni Bala was shot dead in Gopalpora area of the district. After which Kashmiri Hindus also staged large-scale protests in the Kashmir Valley demanding to move to safer places.
