Due to the corruption-free and transparent system being established in the state under the efficient leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, it is becoming impossible for government officials and employees who indulge in corruption or are negligent in their work to continue in their jobs. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the Haryana government is working on the policy of zero tolerance against corruption while establishing a transparent system in the state. Strict decisions have been taken by the government against the employees and officers involved in corruption. In this episode, the government has taken strict action against 48 non-performers and corrupt employees.

Following the footsteps of the Central Government, the Haryana Government has terminated 48 officers/employees in the age group of 50 to 55 years in the last 8 years. While some employees took premature retirement, the government made some sit at home. These include Assistant Professor, Sub Inspector, Horticulture Development Officer, Industrial Extension Officer, Naib Tehsildar, DRO, Supervisor, Manager, Resident Audit Officer, Junior Auditor, Assistant Registrar, Deputy Engineer, Clerk, Assistant, Havaldar, Peon, Godown Keeper etc. Officers and employees are included. These employees were working in the offices of various departments, boards and corporations of the Government of Haryana. Action has been taken against these officers/employees for being involved in corruption, being absent from duty, non-performance, negligence and making fake certificates etc.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that the government keeps evaluating the performance of officers and employees from time to time. After reviewing the service records, the employees who work honestly are honored, while action is taken against the non-performing employees. He said that the aim of the government is to make the governance system better than before. The state government is moving forward on the basic principle of minimum government and maximum governance. Corruption has absolutely no place in such a system. Efforts are being made to completely curb corruption in the state.

Significantly, according to government rules, officers or employees who do not work properly can be removed from the job after the age of 50-55 years or after 20 years of service. But the previous governments did not strictly implement these rules made for the welfare of the public, due to which even the officers and employees who were unfit for the job continued to work. Till the year 2014, where only 32 people were sent home, after 2014, the government formed under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal implemented these rules strictly in the public interest, as a result of which 48 government employees were shown the way out of the job in the last 8 years. Already happened.
