Let us inform that in the meeting held on 29 December 2022, the residents of Haryana’s Badsa village near Najafgarh submitted a memorandum to Delhi’s Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot, requesting to run DTC buses on the said route. After which Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot had accepted the request and announced to extend the service of DTC buses till AIIMS Jhajjar so that people do not face any inconvenience in going to the hospital. The Delhi government will continue free travel for women on this new route as well.

Significantly, Badhsa village of Haryana is adjacent to Najafgarh assembly constituency of Delhi. A large number of people commute from here to Delhi on daily basis for their work, but due to non-availability of bus facility towards Haryana in this entire area, the local people have to face inconvenience.

In view of this, Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot said, “Delhi government under the leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is committed to provide convenient, affordable and safe travel to the people. With this new bus service provided by DTC, Delhi and Thousands of people of Haryana will be benefited. Apart from this, people will not have any inconvenience in going to and from the hospital.
