Kiran Patel accused of fraud of 3.25 crores
According to the report published in Times of India, Kiran Patel has already registered three cases of cheating in Gujarat. Kiran Patle has allegedly duped several people of Rs 3.25 crore.
Kiran Patel was arrested in the early week of March during her third ‘VIP’ visit to Jammu and Kashmir. He has been presenting himself every time as Additional Director (Strategy and Campaigns) in the PMO. The Gujarat Police said it has been visiting Kashmir since 2015 “to review development projects”.

A Gujarat police official said, “Kiran Patel has allegedly visited various areas in Jammu and Kashmir to monitor development projects like the Pir Panjal tunnel project and the redevelopment of Lal Chowk in Srinagar.” That Kiran used to tell the people that he had come through the PMO to instill confidence in the people of Kashmir and inspire them to have faith in the central government.
The Gujarat police also suspect that Kiran Patel had visited four other states Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh as a bureaucrat. Kiran Patel runs an audit firm Modified Concepts Pvt Ltd on CG Road in Navrangpura area of Ahmedabad. Kiran Patel’s wife says that he is an engineer.
The first case was registered against Kiran Patel in 2017
The first case against Kiran Patel was registered in 2017 at Naroda in Ahmedabad. The second case was registered in August 2019 in Ravapura area of Vadodara. On 23 February 2017, Rahul Parmar, a DJ of Naroda, filed a complaint against Kiran Patel and four of his family members for cheating, breach of trust and criminal conspiracy. In which he was allegedly accused of cheating one crore rupees by taking 16 cars from him and not giving them back.

The second complaint against Kiran Patel was lodged by Paritosh Shah, a businessman from Paldi in Ahmedabad. He had alleged that Kiran Patel and two of his associates had called him to do decorations for a Garba program at Navlakhi Maidan in Vadodara but did not pay his bill of Rs 1 crore.
The third allegation against Kiran Patel has been made on 22 August 2019 by a school teacher named Ashish Patel of Radodara village of Bayad. The school teacher has filed a cheating complaint against Kiran Patel and three of her family members. Ashish told the police that Kiran Patel had promised him big money for investing in tobacco and animal feed business. Ashish has told that he invested 1.25 crores between April 1, 2014 and May 19, 2016 but did not get any returns.
Kiran Patel participates in the meeting of BJP workers
Kiran Patel usually attends the meetings of BJP workers. He has often been seen roaming around Kamalam, the CMO and the secretariat, the BJP headquarters in Koba, to establish his rapport with the bigwigs in the government and the party.
A party leader claimed that Kiran Patel had taken Rs 25 lakh from him. Patel organized a precursor to an international event to be held in the state. He has also shared photographs of his family members along with several senior BJP leaders. He created a group in the name of PM Narendra Modi and charged registration fees from those who wanted to join the group.
