Kisan Samman Yatra Congress, which is taking out Bharat Jodo Yatra across the country, has started a new journey in Chhattisgarh. Congress has started Kisan Jodo Samman Yatra in Chhattisgarh, which is known as the rice bowl. On Tuesday, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Congress state in-charge PL Punia, state president Mohan Markam flagged off the Kisan Jodo Samman Yatra by breaking coconut and left for Dantewada. This yatra of Congress will tour the state in different batches, for this a chariot of 36 buses has been prepared.

Congress unit Kisan Congress informed that the message of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra will be conveyed through 36 Kisan Raths in booths of every city and village of Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, 36 public welfare schemes of Bhupesh Baghel government are also ready to reach the farmers’ voters. The Kisan Samman Yatra, which started in November, will end in December, in which National President of Kisan Congress Sukhpal Singh Khaira will be specially involved. Kisan State President Rambilas Sahu said that the government of CM Bhupesh Baghel is the government of farmers, in which the benefit of loan waiver scheme was given to the farmers.

About 11 thousand crore loans of 20 lakh farmers of Chhattisgarh were waived. The price of paddy as promised was Rs 2500 per quintal. This year the price of paddy will be Rs 2640 and Rs 2660. In addition to paddy, through the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojna, farmers who plant kodo, kutki, maize, sugarcane, pulses, oilseeds, fruit trees and plantations are giving 10 thousand per acre incentive. Permanent pump connections were given to more than 5 lakh farmers. These plans will also be discussed through this visit.

The main organization of the Congress and its subsidiary organizations are conducting the Bharat Jodo Padyatra separately. Under this, there are padyatras in separate blocks and assembly constituencies. Congressmen say, there is no route for Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Chhattisgarh. That is why by organizing padyatras in all the units in the state, Congress is sending the message of India-Jodo.
