Bhopal, May 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the facilities provided under PM Cares for Children scheme through video conferencing on Monday. The Prime Minister will transfer scholarships to school going children. During this program, children will be handed over PM Cares for Children’s passbook and health card under Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. The Prime Minister will join the program at 10.30 am.

Program The district level program will start at Gwalior Collectorate in the chief hospitality of Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Which will start at 9 am. Ten children of Gwalior will also get this scholarship and the Union Minister will hand over the card and passbook. Scindia is coming to Gwalior on Monday to participate in the program. Apart from this program, he will also participate in other programs organized in the city.
With a view to assist children who have lost both their parents or legal guardian or adoptive parent or surviving parent during the period from March 11, 2020 to February 28, 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the last 29 by the Prime Minister PM Cares for Children scheme was launched on May 2021.
The objective of this scheme is to make arrangements for the accommodation and food of the children, empower them through education and scholarship, for their self-sustaining existence by equipping them with financial assistance of Rs.10 lakh on attaining the age of 23 years and through health insurance. To provide comprehensive care and protection to them while ensuring their welfare. District Program Officer Rahul Pathak told that all the preparations for the program have been done. Children will get an amount of 10 lakhs on completion of 18 years, which will be received as stipend on completion of 23 years of age.
