Major accident in Uttarkashi: Bus full of pilgrims fell into a gorge, 15 killed, rescue underway

Uttarkashi, June 05:
In Uttarakhand, a horrific accident occurred after a bus fell into a gorge, in which 15 people died. The accident happened in Uttarkashi, where the bus going to Yamunotri fell into the gorge. According to the information, this horrific accident happened near Damta on Yamunotri National Highway. The bus fell into a gorge about 200 meters deep, in which bodies of 15 people have been recovered so far.
Giving information about the accident, DGP Ashok Kumar said that a bus carrying 28 pilgrims from Panna district of Madhya Pradesh fell into a gorge near Damta in Uttarkashi district. Bodies of 15 people have been recovered. Several people have been injured, who have been sent to the hospital. Police and SDRF are present on the spot.
Immediately after the information about the bus falling into the gorge, the police and SDRF team reached the spot and conducted a rescue operation on a war footing. Here, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has taken information about the bus accident from Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
