The Union Minister said that Haryana is the third state in the country, where there are two AIIMS each. The first one has been built in Badsa of Jhajjar district many years ago and now AIIMS will also be built in Majra of Rewari. Earlier it has happened in Jammu and Kashmir, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The first announcement to set up AIIMS was made in Manethi. Those who earlier used to say that we will get it built, we give land, they kept us in the dark.

When the Indian government team reached from Delhi, it came to know that this land is a forest area. Together they brought the NGT order. Now in such a situation, who can go against the Supreme Court and NGT, but at that time the people of Majra played an important role in the most project of the area and gave 200 acres of land. Now the work of land registry is going on and as soon as this work is completed, the construction work of the institute will be started.
