The fight between the Arvind Kejriwal government and the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is not taking the name of stopping. The government is constantly accusing the LG of obstructing the works of the government. In this episode, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has once again accused Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. This time he has accused the LG of preventing teachers from being sent to Finland for training.

Sisodia said that the LG has also banned sending government school teachers of Delhi to Finland for training. The government had approved the proposal for training of 30 teachers and sent it to the LG. They say that get training done in the country itself. LG is overturning the decision of the Chief Minister and the Education Minister in the interest of the children of Delhi by occupying the service department unconstitutionally. The national-international training received by the teachers has contributed a lot in the major change in the education of Delhi.

Earlier, Sisodia alleged in a tweet that the BJP wanted to exercise “unconstitutional” control over Delhi officials. Sisodia’s allegation comes after a notice was issued to the Aam Aadmi Party, asking it to pay Rs 163.62 crore spent on political advertisements allegedly under the guise of government advertisements. The action comes nearly a month after Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena directed the chief secretary to recover Rs 97 crore from the AAP for political advertisements disguised as government advertisements.

According to news agency sources, the recovery notice issued by the Directorate of Information and Publicity (DIP) includes interest on the amount and it is mandatory for the ruling party in Delhi to pay the entire amount within 10 days. A source said, “If the AAP convener fails to do so, all legal action, including attachment of the party’s properties, will be taken in a time-bound manner as per the Delhi LG’s earlier order.”
