Chandigarh, June 22. In Haryana, the Manohar Lal government has come up with the fodder sowing scheme. Under this fodder sowing scheme, the farmer who will grow fodder around the cowshed will be given a grant of Rs.10,000 per acre and the maximum benefit limit is Rs.1 lakh. To get the benefits, the farmer must make sure to register himself on the ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ portal.

Under the government’s fodder sowing scheme, farmers who contract with cowsheds and sow cattle fodder with them, will be given a grant of Rs 10,000 per acre by the government. Efforts are being made by the government to connect more and more farmers with this scheme, so that the problem of cattle feed running in Gaushalas can be removed. Recently, there was a shortage of cattle fodder in gaushalas.

Rohtak Deputy Commissioner Captain Manoj Kumar informed that Haryana Government has started fodder sowing scheme to encourage farmers to grow animal feed crops. The objective of the scheme is also to ensure the availability of fodder for the animals in the Gaushala. A grant of Rs 10,000 per acre will be given to the farmers growing fodder around the cowshed. The maximum benefit limit has been fixed at Rs.

Under the fodder seeding scheme, farmers will have to register on the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal by July 15. Register your details on the portal after determining the price and quantity of fodder on contract basis with the mutual consent of the farmer and the concerned cowshed.
