80 year old man who went missing 20 years ago suddenly became alive
The family of Odisha’s Puri, who kept waiting and praying for years for their father Baral to return, but when he did not return, considered him dead, the 80-year-old man has just come back to life. His name is Kritichandra Baral who was lost in a fierce storm.
Lost his memory after getting lost in the cyclone, this person helped
This man named Baral from Puri lost his memory after getting lost in the cyclone and was wandering on the wet footpaths of Visakhapatnam. AJ Stalin, who was then the corporator of Greater Visakhapatnam, took pity on this man and used to drop by every day to give him food. This went on for years but one afternoon Councilor Stalin stopped his car as usual and also honked, but the man did not come. Stalin came out and after searching found the man. He was ill and was unable to walk. This is about 2012.
Stalin got Missionaries of Charity (MOC) recruited
Following which Stalin contacted the Missionaries of Charity (MOC) and left them to take care of the man where his health condition improved. However, despite all the efforts, his memory could not come back. However, the person sometimes pronounced the word Srikakulam, the name of a city and district in Andhra Pradesh.
Know how the house was found
When Baral’s condition improved, the MOC transferred him to a center near Srikakulam. He used to accompany the missionaries when they went to the villages. The MOC hoped that someone there would recognize him but it did not happen. And a few days later got a call from MOC they wanted to try to trace the family of this man as they didn’t even know his name. Thereafter after extensive search in the network, we finally found the Baral family at Patigram, Bamanla, Puri.
The son rejoiced with the lost father
Ambrish Nag Biswas, secretary of the West Bengal Radio Club (WBRC), told that Baral has three sons. One of them has lost his eyesight. Seeing the picture of their father, the other two sons were stunned and then started crying. Baral’s family is an affluent family and he told how his father went missing after the cyclone and was presumed dead. It is believed that Baral had a traumatic experience during the cyclone and lost his memory. He somehow traveled to Srikakulam and still remembers the name. From there, he wandered like a stray in Visakhapatnam.
