Jabalpur, 09 June: Who will be the mayor? In the 16 municipal corporations of MP, the electoral board has been laid for the struggle for city power. The suspense on the ticket of the contenders for the post of mayor also started to end. Congress has won the ticket announcement for the Mayor’s chair. Late on Thursday evening, the Congress state president put his stamp on the prepared list. However, suspense still remains on Ratlam seat. For the remaining 15 municipal corporations of the rest of the state, Congress has declared candidates for mayor.

After the election bugle for the city power struggle in Madhya Pradesh, now the election mercury has started rising. Congress has announced mayoral candidates for 15 municipal corporations out of the total 16 municipal corporations in the state. Among the big cities of the state, Vibha Patel from Bhopal, Sanjay Shukla from Indore, Jagat Bahadur Singh Annu from Jabalpur, Shobha Sikarwar from Gwalior, Mahesh Parmar from Ujjain, Nidhi Jain from Sagar, Ajay Mishra from Rewa have been nominated. Apart from this, if we talk about other municipal corporations, then Sharda Solanki from Morena, Siddharth Kushwaha from Satna, Shreya Khandelwal from Katni, Arvind Singh Chandel from Singrauli, Shahnaz Ansari from Burhanpur, Vikram Ahake from Chhindwara, Kavita Ramesh Vyas from Dewas, Khandwa from Khandwa Congress put its final seal in the name of Asha Mishra. This list of Congress, which was officially released late on Thursday evening, was being discussed for the last days. In some places there were single names, in some places two and three names were screwed. Later the state Congress chief, former Chief Minister Kamal Nath released the final list.

Ratlam ticket in waiting, Bhuria will end the suspense!
The ticket of Congress mayor candidate for Ratlam Municipal Corporation is still waiting. From the very beginning, the names of Rajiv Rawat, Mayank Jat were appearing as the main contenders from the Congress for the post of mayor from here. While Rajiv has the experience of being a councilor three times, Mayank is the current District Youth Congress President and has a large lobby of youth supporters. Mayank has been in a lot of discussion in the cases of assault in the past, in such a situation, Congress is in the mood to take a very thoughtful decision here.

BJP’s list will come after Monday
The Congress has announced the names of the mayor candidates, now the BJP will take the final decision in the upcoming election committee meeting to be held on June 11 and 12. After that the suspense created by the BJP regarding the mayor candidates will also end. However, this time it is a big challenge for the BJP to finalize the names from the big municipal areas of the state which include Jabalpur, Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Ujjain. Because not the names of one or two claimants from all these places, but more than half a dozen big names from everywhere are in discussions. There are also names from some places from where the leader had lost the election of MLA in the last assembly elections. So either he is looking for a ticket for himself or for his wife.
