The medical department has taken a better decision for TB patients. The decision is that now free protein-rich food items will be distributed to TB patients. Actually, under the Nikshay Sambal Yojana in Rajasthan, nutritious food is given to TB patients. In this, 5000 rupees are given by the government but protein-rich food is not available in it. Udaipur CMHO Dr Dinesh Kharadi told that the initiative has been taken in Udaipur because it is a tribal area and most of the patients are financially weak. About 6,000 TB patients come to Udaipur every year. He told that donors have been added to provide protein-rich food items and it has already started.
