After conducting the autopsy of Musewala, a panel of five doctors concluded that the cause of his death was hemorrhagic shock. He had this shock due to excessive internal bleeding. Apart from this, he also died due to injuries from antimortem firearms.

Kidney, Liver, Lung… there was no such place where bullets were not fired.

The report further stated that Musewala had maximum bullet marks on his right side. The bullets hit his kidney, liver, lungs and spine. He was shot in almost all the important places of the body. Musewala died “within 15 minutes” of being injured.

According to the post-mortem report, X-ray of Musewala’s entire body was done. It said that Musewala’s T-shirt and pajamas were found soaked in blood and had multiple holes corresponding to his injuries. Yes, there were so many bullet holes in Musewala’s body that even the doctors were shocked.

Musewala was shot with a Russian rifle

Days after the Punjab government downgraded the security of singer-politician Musewala, unidentified gunmen ambushed Musewala in Mansa’s Jawarharke village and were opening fire on his vehicle Thar. At least three weapons including AN-94 assault rifle (Russian rifle) were used and 30 empty rounds of bullets were recovered from the spot.
