Bhubaneswar, June 06: Odisha Chief Minister and BJD President Naveen Patnaik can now change the organizational structure of the party after the cabinet reshuffle. According to the report, CM Naveen Patnaik is preparing to make changes in the organizational structure of the party keeping in mind the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the assembly elections. It is being told that many senior ministers who were recently removed from the Council of Ministers will be prepared for organizational work. At the same time, young MLAs can also be asked to work for the party. Many leaders in the organization are expected to be given new positions.

According to BJD sources, the party may create some more posts for different regions like coastal and southern. In charge of which leaders with good organizational skills will be made. At the same time, new supervisors will be made for many districts and the list of senior observers will also be changed. However, the duties of all senior supervisors who are looking after organizational matters of more than one district will be changed. A source said top party leaders are working out the details of the organizational structure.

A senior BJD functionary said, “As we gear up for the 2024 Lok Sabha and assembly elections. Senior leaders, who were ministers for the last three years, have now decided that they will have to work. Those who work hard will be rewarded again.” Let us tell you that the reshuffle of the Council of Ministers is also a step in the direction of focusing on the western sector of the party.
