New Delhi, June 08: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi slammed BJP over his remarks on Prophet Mohammad. He said that the fringe (chaotic) is at the core of the BJP. Also, Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday highlighted some of the past statements of top leaders of the government. Muslim countries have strongly objected to the statement given by suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal on Mohammad Prophet. After this, Rahul Gandhi has targeted BJP by tweeting.
He said the government distanced itself from such comments. The Ministry of External Affairs said that the statements of some individuals do not represent the government. Rahul Gandhi shared the headlines of news reports on the statements of BJP leaders like Amit Shah, Yogi Adityanath, Anurag Thakur and Sadhvi Pragya, saying that the fringe is the core of BJP.
Damaged India’s image in the world
Rahul Gandhi said that the bigotry of BJP has damaged the image of India in the world. Actually, in the cases of Nupur Sharma, the opposition is constantly attacking the BJP. In such a situation, in a tweet on Monday, Rahul Gandhi said that being divided internally, India becomes weak externally. The shameful bigotry of the BJP has not only alienated us, but has also damaged India’s position on the world stage.
Hate only breeds hatred
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had made another tweet, in which he had written that hatred only breeds hatred and this is the time to unite India. In his tweet, Rahul Gandhi had said that hatred only breeds hatred. Only the path of love and brotherhood can take India towards progress. It is time to unite India.
