He played his last international match against New Zealand in the 2019 ODI World Cup, where India lost the semi-finals.

Hardik Pandya
IPL 2022 has emerged as a turning point for all-rounder Hardik Pandya. Pandya had lost his place in the national team due to his fitness. He was last seen playing as T20I on 8 November 2021. His poor fitness kept him away from the team, but in IPL 2022, he made everyone his favorite by making Gujarat Titans the captain and champion. Not only good captaincy, but along with batting, bowling was also seen strong. Hardik scored 487 runs in 15 matches. He was the highest run-scorer for Gujarat, as well as taking 3 wickets for 17 runs in 4 overs in the final match. Hardik Pandya has shown that he is not going to give up. Will see him play against South Africa now. Apart from this, there is also talk of giving him the captaincy of T20I format in future.

Kuldeep Yadav
‘Chinaman’ Kuldeep Yadav had a bad time in international cricket for the last few years. Sometimes he was walking inside the team and sometimes outside. Not only this, he was not given a chance to play a single match in IPL 2021, but in this season Delhi Capitals trusted him. Coach Ricky Ponting told him at the very beginning that you have to play all the league matches. Kuldeep also did not disappoint, taking 21 wickets in 14 matches. He was the 5th highest wicket taker in the season. Kuldeep has also been selected for the T20 series against South Africa. Kuldeep has indicated to the selectors that he is not one of the players to be dropped in and out. Kuldeep is now ready for the upcoming T20 World Cup as well.
