47 billion dollars investment in 8 years
Since the formation of Telangana, an investment of $47 billion has been made in the state so far. Work has also started in about 80 percent of the companies. As a result of this, about 21 lakh people have got employment opportunities in the state. But, in these eight years, unlike other states, vibrant conferences have not been held in the state. There is no rush to strike deals. Planning is done in consultation with national and international organizations and efforts are made to attract investment through agreements with them. Only in Telangana, companies can start their operations with a self-declaration. Of all the vaccines manufactured in the world, 33 per cent are produced in Telangana only. Most of the companies that have got US FDA approval are in Telangana. Recently, KTR has informed that Telangana has received an investment of 21 thousand crores in Davos. According to him, the four-day visit to the World Economic Forum Conference has been successful. The minister says that in Davos he has participated in a total of 52 trade meetings, 6 round table meetings and two panel discussions.

Hyderabad has become an investment destination
Improving infrastructure in Hyderabad has been a priority of the state government in the last eight years. KTR’s thinking about Hyderabad has been interesting. Talking about Hyderabad in Hyderabad, they say ‘Hyderabad is a combination of South and North India. hence you can have both dosa and roti. Technology is friends with biology. It connects data science with life science. It’s the hub of everything, from the Mango-verse to the Meta-verse.’ With an investment of 16 thousand crores, technology giant Microsoft is setting up three more data centers in Hyderabad. Bharti Airtel Group will also build a huge hyperscale data center in Hyderabad with an investment of about 2 thousand crores. A pharma company named Eurofins is setting up a state-of-the-art laboratory campus in Genome Valley at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore. KTR has said that apart from these, other international companies like PepsiCo, P&G, Allox, Apollo Tires Limited, Web PT, Inspire Brands have also announced investment of Rs 2,000 crore.
