New York, September 24: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has once again raised the slogan of Kashmir in the United Nations General Assembly (UN). Speaking at the UN, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that India should take credible steps to create a conducive environment for constructive engagement. We are neighbors and are forever, the choice is ours whether to live in peace or fight with each other.

Shahnabaz Sharif said that, since 1947 we have fought 3 wars and as a result only misery, poverty and unemployment have increased on both sides. Now it is up to us to resolve our differences, our problems and our issues through peaceful dialogue and discussion. I think the time has come for India to understand the message that both the countries are connected to each other.

Pak PM said that, war is not an option, only peaceful dialogue can resolve the issues so that the world becomes more peaceful in the times to come. We want peace with all our neighbours, including India. Permanent peace and stability in South Asia, however, depends on a just and permanent settlement of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.

He said, “More than 1500 of my people, including more than 400 children, have left this world in this flood. They are in far greater danger from disease and malnutrition. Millions of people are looking for dry land to pitch their tents to escape the floods. .
