This imported government has gone mad.” Several other PTI leaders have also condemned the arrest of Chowdhary. Islamabad Police has also confirmed the arrest of Fawad Chaudhary.

Imran Khan may also be arrested

Geo News reported that a case was registered against Choudhary at Kohsar police station in Islamabad on Tuesday night on the complaint of Election Commission Secretary Umar Hameed. Subsequently, the PTI leader was arrested from his residence near Thokar Niaz Beg in Lahore. According to the report of Geo News, sources have told that Fawad Chaudhary will be taken to Islamabad. Anticipating the arrest of former Pakistan PM Imran Khan, a large number of PTI supporters have gathered outside his residence in Zaman Park, Lahore, according to news reports.

PTI leader Asad Umar urged all party workers on Twitter to reach Zaman Park. He tweeted and wrote, ‘There are reports that the puppet government will try to arrest Imran Khan tonight. Tehreek-e-Insaf workers should reach Zaman Park to save their leader. According to Geo News report, PTI supporters raised slogans in support of Imran Khan and vowed unwavering loyalty to their leader even if it meant risking their lives.
