Announcing this, Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that Tohana residents have been gifted with development works worth Rs 580 crore today.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has announced that sports competitions will be organized at village, block and district levels to promote sports culture in rural areas. For this, Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad will organize these games. There will be 12 types of sports in these competitions. Apart from this, it was also announced to open a medical college in Rasulpur village of Tohana sub-division of district Fatehabad and a nursing college in Jakhal.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal while addressing the gathering present during the Madhur Milan ceremony and progress rally organized by Development and Panchayat Minister Devendra Babli at village Bidhai Kheda, Tohana on the 126th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala was also present on the occasion.
Announcing this, Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that Tohana residents have been gifted with development works worth Rs 580 crore today. Out of these, schemes worth Rs 272 crore have been inaugurated and the foundation stone laid. Announcing that the Government College, Tohana would be established outside the city limits, he said that wherever 15-20 acres of land would be available, the college would be established.
Saluting Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that today we are breathing in open air in an independent country because of him and many freedom fighters like him. The time was different when there was a need to die for the country but in today’s time there was a need to live for the country. He said that along with development, we have done many things to uplift the social and economic status of the people by following the mantra of Haryana Ek Haryanvi Ek.
Panchayat third government, many rights given to panchayats
Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that Panchayat is the third government and we have given many powers to these permanent governments. The previous governments did not give rights to the panchayats, but our government has given the right to the panchayats to get the development work done on their own. The money belongs to the Panchayats, spend it however you want. Pass the resolution and get the development work done in your area. If the authority has to be increased further or money has to be increased, then as soon as there is a demand, it can be increased.
Financially empowered Panchayats
Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that in order to financially empower the panchayats, now the facility of giving 2 percent of the stamp duty to the panchayats has also been started. He said that in the last quarter of this financial year, a budget of Rs 1,100 crore has been given to the panchayats for development works in the villages. Inter District Council has also been formed to strengthen the Panchayats.
He said that a scale has been set to ensure transparency in development works. The public is also happy with the advent of transparency. He said that development works are done in the villages, but to take care of them, retired people should be taken care of with the help of Sarpanchs.
Many works have been done to change the system to make life easier for the people.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal appealed to the villagers to unite to end the drug menace in their village. He said that in 2014 many works have been done to change the system to make life easier for the people. From CM window to transfer policy has been made. Now in this policy women will be given first priority for transfer so that they get the nearest stations.
He said that the Gram Darshan portal has been created so that the people can directly reach the government for the development work in the villages. Citizens of Tohana Halke had sent demands for 26 development works on this portal, which have been approved.
The benefits of the schemes are reaching the last person from PPP
Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that our government is taking the benefit of every scheme to the last person standing at the last rung through the family identity card. Now ration cards are also being made automatically through PPP. 12 lakh new ration cards have been made. Under this, the state government has prepared a comprehensive action plan, under which all-round development and welfare of every citizen will be ensured by laying emphasis on education, health, security, self-respect and self-reliance. For this, the data of the citizens collected in the Parivar Pehchan Patra has been divided into different categories according to the age group and the responsibility of each category has been assigned to a department.
He said that Chief Minister Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana is being run for the upliftment of the poor and needy. Apart from this, Mukhyamantri Parivar Samriddhi Yojana is also an important scheme. He said that the government has made a budget provision of about Rs 1,100 crore to solve the problem of water logging in the state. During the program, sarpanches, councilors and various social organizations welcomed and felicitated Chief Minister Manohar Lal, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chaitala and Development and Panchayat Minister by wearing turbans.
Bidhai Kheda’s community center is a model for the entire state
Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala while paying tribute to leader Subhash Chandra Bose on his 126th birth anniversary said that today is a day of special significance for Tohana Halke. Today Haryana is on the path of progress. Land is being bought on the e-Bhoomi portal with the consent of the landowners. Recently six acres of land has been purchased from the e-portal for the new bus stand of Tohana. For this, he also thanked Chief Minister Manohar Lal.
He said that the community center of Bidhai Kheda is a model for the entire state and on the same lines community centers will be constructed in the villages for social functions. He said that the villagers should also take care of the infrastructure constructed by the government at their own level. He said that today there is a need to raise the standard of education. Arrangements should be made for the preparation of children for competitive examinations in villages and small towns.
He said that in order to provide employment opportunities to the local youth, industries will be set up in 142 blocks of Haryana under One Block-One Product on the lines of Central Government’s One District-One Product Scheme and the goods produced from here will be sent to the country and abroad. Will go If 50 acres of land is available in Jakhal and Tohana, we will open such a cluster. Under the Padma scheme, the government is providing loans for 80 percent of the infrastructure.
Tohana got gift of development works worth crores of rupees
Development and Panchayat Minister and rally coordinator Devendra Singh Babli said that today BJP-JJP is a government with a common vision. He said that there was discrimination against Tohana in the previous governments. This is the city of canals and the land of patriots. Today there has been a change in politics in this area. The people here have brought a change in politics and for this they deserve congratulations.
