PFI’s Kerala Bandh: Stone pelting in many areas, attack on policemen in Pallimukku



New Delhi, 23 September.
On Thursday, the ED, NIA raided the offices of PFI (Islamic organization Popular Front of India) and residences of leaders of 11 states on charges of terror funding and promoting terrorist activities. More than 100 activists and leaders of PFI have been arrested in this raid. PFI has announced a bandh in Kerala today in protest against the arrest of the leaders. The effect of the strike is being seen in the entire state since morning. Sporadic incidents of stone pelting are being reported in many areas of the state. Two policemen were also attacked by two bike-borne PFI supporters at Pallimukku in Kollam district.
