Hyderabad: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Hyderabad, Telangana minister KT Rama Rao attacked him on Tuesday. Addressing the media, KTR claimed that the Prime Minister has doubled India’s debt by taking a loan of Rs 100 lakh crore. Expressing apprehension about the utilization of Rs 100 lakh crore, he asked, “Where did this money go, to whom did they distribute it?”

Referring to Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, KTR said in a gesture, ‘Do you know their two friends in Gujarat who they are? Only those two people will sell and only those two will buy. Desham Kosam, Dharmam Kosam (for the country, for virtue) is an old dialogue, today the country is running for those two people only.

Let us tell you that PM Modi will reach Telangana on January 19. Apart from flagging off a Vande Bharat Express train between Hyderabad and Vijayawada, he will launch various railway projects worth Rs 2,400 crore in Telangana. This also includes modernization of Secunderabad Railway Station at a cost of about Rs 700 crore.

KTR said, ‘Narendra Modi is coming on January 19, he should tell whether it is true or not that he waived the loans of his corporate friends. If Rs 1,45,000 crore is given to the people of the country, then the whole country can be given free electricity, but the government will not give it. If Rs 1,45,000 crore is given, then every farmer of the country can be given free electricity. But the government will not do this, yes 12-13 lakh crores can be waived surprisingly for their friends.
