Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the inaugural session of the BRICS summit on Wednesday. At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, PM Modi will attend the BRICS Business Forum on 23 and 24 June. This conference will be conducted digitally. In its inaugural session on Wednesday, PM Modi said that India’s success is based on technology-led development along with innovation and startups.
Indian digital economy to be 1 trillion by 2025
PM Modi said that infrastructure is expanding in India. Not only this, reforms are also being done on a large scale, the effect of this will be seen by the year 2025, when the value of Indian digital economy will reach one trillion dollars. The Prime Minister said that the government lays emphasis on ‘ease of living’, infrastructure building with PM Gatishakti, digital transformation and digital economy. PM Modi said that India supports innovation in every field including drones, green energy and space.
