NATO playing with fire by clashing with China
In a press conference, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that like Ukraine, NATO and Western countries are trying to spoil the atmosphere near China on the pretext of South China Sea, which is a threat to Russia as well. This area is close to the Russian shores. He also said that NATO is playing with fire by increasing tension in South China Sea and Taiwan. He said that NATO did the same thing in Ukraine. NATO is engaged in increasing tension in the South China Sea, so that Russia’s siege and difficulties can increase.
Military cooperation increasing because of NATO
Sergei Lavrov also said that China takes these provocations seriously. He said that one of the reasons for increasing military cooperation between Russia and China is the deteriorating situation in the South China Sea. He also targeted the AUKUS organization without naming the US as well as Australia and the UK. AUKUS is a security agreement regarding the Indo-Pacific region. China has also expressed displeasure on its formation.
Criticized the proposal to set up a crime tribunal
Russia has also criticized the European Union’s proposal to set up a war crimes tribunal. Sergei Lavrov said that any such tribunal set up on the Ukraine war would not be acceptable to Russia. Earlier, European Union President Ursula Leyen had said on Wednesday that the European Union, under the chairmanship of the United Nations, would set up a special court in which Ukraine war crimes would be investigated.
Lavrov also opposed the price cap
Along with this, Lavrov also opposed the proposed price cap on Russia’s oil exports. He said that we have no fear of it. We will talk about this with allies like India and China. No third party can decide to award the punishment. Please inform that 9 months of Russia-Ukraine war have been completed. So far, more than 13 thousand Ukrainian soldiers have died in this war. The authorities of Ukraine have informed about this. This was informed by Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukrainian President Zelensky.
