Chandigarh. As a result of the efforts of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the Gita Jayanti celebrations celebrated in Dharmanagari Kurukshetra are being celebrated internationally for the last six years and in this series this year from 16 to 19 September at the Living Art Center Mississaga, Canada. The festival is being organized in which 104 religious and social organizations of the country and abroad will churn on the teachings of the holy book Gita.
Giving information in this regard, a spokesman of the Haryana Government said that for the first time on a foreign soil, so many institutions would be seen on one platform for organizing this festival. The representatives of these institutions will brainstorm and discuss the teachings of the holy book Gita so that the teachings of the holy book Gita can reach the people easily. An important aspect of the event will also be that along with the seminar, an exhibition will also be organized on the history of the holy book Gita and Kurukshetra 48 Kos.
It is worth mentioning that inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s selfless devotion and his life goal dedicated to the service of the nation, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal resolved to organize Gita Mahotsav inspired by the Gita expounding the principles of Karma and Faith and took this message to the country and the country. He also brought fame abroad.
He informed that a delegation led by Urban Local Bodies Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta is going to Canada on behalf of Haryana Government for the successful organization of the function. The preparations for International Gita Mahotsav Canada-2022 are almost complete. These preparations are being done by representatives of 104 institutions under the inspiration of Gita sage Swami Gyananand Maharaj and under the leadership of Jio Geeta. Canada’s Haryanavi organizations and more than 100 social service organizations have an important contribution in organizing this event.
According to Vijay Singh Dahiya, Member Secretary, Kurukshetra Development Board, Geeta Park Bhoomi Pujan will be organized in Brampton City Ontario on September 19 and Geeta Park will be built in about 3.75 acres at this place and in this park on the lines of Kurukshetra, Shri Krishna-Arjun Rath will also be established.

The spokesman said that the festival would begin on September 16 from Parliament Hill, Ottawa. In the morning session in Mississauga there will be seminar on Shrimad Bhagavad Gita at Living Art Center and Shri Krishna Katha program in the evening, procession will be held at Dudance Square Toronto on 18th September and the holy texts in Ontario Parliament on 19th September. Gita’s teachings will be discussed and Geeta Park Bhoomi Pujan will take place in Brampton City Ontario.
