Jammu, June 02. A large number of government employees are demanding transfer to their home district due to the cases of violence in the Valley. On Thursday, in support of their demands, these employees took out a march and tried to tell the administration that they cannot work in the kind of atmosphere prevailing in the Valley. The protesting people were carrying placards in support of their demands.

Rajni Bala, a school teacher, was shot dead by terrorists at a school in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday. After which the government employees in the valley are demanding transfer to their home district. The protest was organized under the banner of ‘All Jammu-Based Reserve Category Employees Association’. The protesters warned that they would not resume their duties as the government had not been successful in stopping the killing of a targeted section of people and providing a safe environment to the people.
