Food, Punjab Agriculture Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal visited the markets of the state. Dhaliwal also visited Khanna, Asia’s biggest grain market here. Here the minister also bid for the farmer’s crop and after the crop was sold, the farmer wore a necklace and made him sweet by feeding laddoos.

On the other hand, the workers gave an ultimatum of 48 hours to the minister and announced the closure of the entire Punjab markets from October 6 if the demands were not met. Dhaliwal said that no farmer is being allowed to face any problem in the government of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Crops are being procured on time. Payment is also being done in 48 hours. On the issue of stubble, Dhaliwal said that maximum machinery has been distributed. Every effort is being made to stop the farmers from burning stubble.
